As we know, there is a huge demand of wide-area surveillance in the fields of military and public safety. However, due to hardware constraints, it is difficult for most of the wide-area surveillance systems to maintain high resolution through single-camera detection. In this dissertation, we research the technologies of single camera moving target detection for wide-area surveillance system, and attempt to make it realization.We discuss the problem of panorama generation for the wide-area surveillance system. Detected by analyzing the transform model between the sequence images, we research and realize a image stitching technology based on Harris-corners and the best suture line. By using circle to divide sub-block, we achieve the dimensionality reduction of the original rotation invariance descriptor, build a new rotation invariance descriptor, and successfully reduce the time of matching.In this paper, we also propose a method of moving target detection based on global motion compensation , and analysis the method of three frame differences. During the analyzing of sequence images of different groups, we propose a method of three frame differences detection between sequence images of different groups based on global motion compensation , and use the image mosaic technology to obtain the wide-area environmental monitoring detection Panoramas. We also put forward to a method of three frame differences detection between mosaic images of different groups based on global motion compensation, and obtain panoramic images through the detection of the overall environment??ile analyzing sequence images in the same group, we propose a method of three frame differences detection between sequence images in the same groups based on global motion compensation. By detecting the overlapping region of three adjacent images and splicing, we realize the moving target detection of wide-area surveillance step by step. To meet the demand of real-time testing in wide-area surveillance system, we try to use an improved three differential algorithm, and achieve the purposeIn this paper, we research the detection of moving targets in wide-area surveillance for the exploration, and realize other related technologies such as image mosaic, moving target detection and so on. Our research conduct a preliminary realization of wide-area surveillance detection .
