Low-order controllers are widely used in industrial field for its simple structure, strong robustness and easy implementation. During the recent years, modern control theory and intelligent control theory got fast development. The low-order controllers still play the main roles. The overseas and domestic research results commonly adopt mathematic approach to solve the parametric region of the multi-performance low-order controllers. Based on these methods, in the aspects of the known mathematic model and the unknown mathematic model, this paper do a father complementarity and improvement on the parameters tuning method of the low-order controllers.Under the known mathematic model situation, based on the approach of the low-order controller parametric region satisfying the consistency of stability combined with disturbance attenuation H-infinity index, the rapid performance is added in the form of decay ratio index and an approach of the low-order controller parametric region satisfying the consistency of stability, rapid performance and disturbance attenuation H-infinity index is given. For there are some situations where the precise model of the plant is hardly acquired in the practical engineering, teaching from the multi-performance first controller design thought, this paper, based on the frequency response measurement, gives a corresponding design method of the PID controllers.Considering the controller parameters often have a departure from ideal design value for a variety of reasons in the controller implement, based on the acquired controller parametric region, the method of Linear Programming is used in this paper to determine the non-fragile controller parameters. Finally, a numerical simulation example is provided to validate the availability of the proposed approach.
