The TD-SCDMA system, which is first put forward by China, has been widely accepted and recognized by the international on international standards for wireless communications. This is an important milestone in the history of Chinese telecommunications. On January 7, 2009, the Chinese government issued China Mobile the TD-SCDMA business license, then TD-SCDMA's formal entry into the business. In this paper, an in-depth analysis on the Channel coding/decoding and Multiplexing/DeMultiplexing protocol and specification of TD-SCDMA system is made. We set up a system realization model. Then, the algorithm of each module in the realization model is confimed. The main algorithms included are: CRC attachment, transport block concatenation and code block segmentation, channel coding/decoding, radio frame equalization, first interleaveing and deinterleaving, second interleaving/De-interleaving, radio frame segmentation, rate matching/dematching, transport channel multiplexing/demultiplexing, physical channel segmentation, physical channel mapping, etc. After the analysis of algorithms, to ensure the method is right, we simulate the process of channel coding/multiplexing and decoding/demutiplexing of TD-SCDMA for uplink based on MATLAB. Through simulation result, the technology of channel decoding and demultiplexing for uplink of Node B receiver is programmed using MSC8144ADS. Then, we set up a test platform and the BER-SNR plot is presented. Finally, we do some analysis on the result of hardware realization.Simulation and design of this paper as an important part of the whole frame of TD-SCDMA uplink baseband signal processing, bring some experiences and make technical accumulation for further study.
