Modern science and technology is advancing rapidly. The popularity of the Internet has changed traditional business rules so largely that competition among enterprises increased substantially. Enterprises must reform for adapting to the changing environment. Management Information System is the product of combining database technology and enterprise management, whose quality has a direct impact on the competitiveness of enterprises. With the actual demand of thermoelectric enterprises, this paper used the object-oriented method, designed and realized a thermoelectric enterprise information system based on ASP.NET. Main contents of this paper are as follows:Firstly, this paper briefly introduced the development stages and current situation of information system, compared two-layer structure and three-layer structure and adopted .NET Technology for the development of this system on the basis of the advantages and characteristics of .NET development tool.Secondly, from the perspective of users and developer and combining the actual demand of thermoelectric enterprises, this paper analyzed system requirements, made system modeling using UML. This system has six subsystems. According to the function for each subsystem, this paper gave concrete use case recognition, use case diagrams, activity diagrams and so on.Thirdly, this paper adopted three-layer structure to design system. On the basis of .NET platform and aiming at each subsystem, this paper realized function design of three-layer structure which has strong reliability, flexibility and maintainability, showing the whole developing process of office automation based on .NET clearly.Fourthly, this paper adpoted role-based access control mechanism to realize the right control of the system. The integrity and accuracy of data in information system play important roles in the normal running of system. On the basis of role-based access control mechanism, this paper guaranteed the security of system and data.
