Virtual Vision Coordinate Measuring Machine is a new research in the coordinate measuring field, which has an important theoretical significance and broad prospects. This paper mainly to the simulation environment of Vision Coordinate Measuring Machine, including the study of Vision Coordinate Measuring Machine simulation model and simulation environment running on. And in this simulation environment based on the coordinates of cameras along the axis parallel movement space geometrical parameters of the virtual circle measurement was studied.Three parts are mainly developed in this paper:1. The establishment of measurement model based on camera parallel movement. This measurement model of a single-camera along the axis parallel coordinates campaigns Multi-View image acquisition. In the measurement process in accordance with the camera movement parallel steps can conduct real-time camera calibration, which reduces the complexity of calibration, and measurement model of the three-dimensional reconstruction algorithm is simple.2. The study of spatial circle geometric parameters measurement based on camera parallel. On the basis of camera along the axis parallel movement, the geometric parameters of spatial circle measurement was studied. And the emphases are the projection elliptical edge extraction and matching edge point. The core of this measurement method is first rebuilding the 3D coordinates of spatial circle's edge, and fitting the spatial circle to get the geometric parameters. We can acquire the geometric parameters of the circle without accessing to the angle between the circle's plane and the camera image's plane by this method. And this method also can avoid the measurement error arising from projection ellipse fitting center and actual projection center of the circle is not coincidence.3. The establishment of Vision Coordinate Measuring Machine simulation model and the running environment. According to the mechanical structure and movement mode of the vision coordinate measurement, we established a vision coordinate measuring mode simulation model and virtual running environment. And in this environment, the geometric parameters of spatial circle is measured. The study on Vision Coordinate Measuring Machine simulation model and running environment has certain reference significance for Vision Coordinate Measuring Machine manufacturers and teaching demonstration. The geometric parameters measurement of spatial circle in the simulation environment can provide reference programme for actual measurement.
