A multiple-slits streak camera with high temporal and spatial resolution is introduced, which is mainly used in the scannerless three-dimensional imaging lidar. The camera is composed of fiber transcoding array, electronic control system and multiple-slits tube. Firstly, the principle of scannerless three-dimensional imaging lidar is described. The principles and results of fiber transcoding array and electronic control system are introduced in detail. And then a multiple-slits streak tube, which is the very core of this camera, is designed. The electron field is solved by using the Finite Element Method and Boundary Element Method. On the theory of electron motion in the electronic field and Monte Carlo Method, the initial status of a large mount of the photoelectrons is sampled, and their trajectories are simulated. And the basic structure and parameters of the multiple-slit streak tube is confirmed. And then, the influence of the distance from the aperture of the anode of deflector and the mounting precision of the electrodes are also discussed in this dissertation. Finally, the experimental results of the camera are showed.The streak tube has a length of 196mm, a magnification of 1.2 and a temporal resolution of 2.666ps. The dynamic spatial resolution of centre area of cathode is higher than 1331p/mm. Some testing researches of the multiple-slits streak camera are operated by using the Nd:YAG pulsed laser. The camera has a static spatial resolution of more than 251p/mm and a dynamic spatial resolution of more than 101p/mm. The electronic control circuit has an intrinsic delay time of no more than 400ns. The gating width of shutter pulse has six adjustable ranges. The performance parameters of the camera can meet with the application of scannerless three-dimensional imaging lidar.
