Development, Family Kod System Based On P2p

As the rapid development of network technology and multimedia technology, people begin experiencing the intelligent entertainment content with high-tech devices. Family Karaoke on Demand (KOD) system, or interactive family Karaoke system, whose servers usually bear large load under traditional C/S network model, can not deal with multimedia data efficiently. Consequently, Family KOD system based on peer to peer (P2P) technology, which can transmit high-quality multimedia video and audio flow between multiple network clients, becomes the most promising interactive entertainment platform for people's demand on individuality and diversity.Firstly, it is analyzed the present conditions of the interactive family multimedia entertainment systems and different network models, then selected the P2P network model to support this Family KOD system. Based on it, an overall architectural design and analysis for each subsystem (including P2P network subsystem, performing subsystem and viewing subsystem) are established. Additionally, some key technologies related to aforementioned subsystems, including server data distribution, security transmission of network data, DirectShow and special algorithm for adding new network node into P2P group are analyzed in detail.
