Research And Design Of Radar T / R Component Automatic Test System Controller

Active electronically scanned array radar antenna is composed thousands of T/R components. During the R&D and production period, we need to carry out lots of quick and exact engineering testing for the performance. The traditional testing method need to choose the related apparatus one by one base on different testing reference. It will need lots kind of apparatus, the testing speed is slow and efficiency is low. It will be a T/R component automatic testing system if we can combine the apparatus which is T/R components required, Testing automatization can improve the testing efficiency and speed. It can avoid the manual testing error or mistake when computer take over the cockamamie testing process. The T/R component automatic testing system is necessary for Active electronically scanned array radar R&D and production.This paper discuss the working elements of x-band T/R components, the function of T/R components testing system and the main technical index. Then, it introduce the working elements of main T/R components controller and the design of software and hardware. Finally, it introduce the testing method of T/R components.
