With the popularity of networks,DDoS attack happens frequently.Because the diversity of the high-level agreements and services were used,DDoS attack which based on the application layer is becoming more complex,and more difficult to be detected.One kind of protection test models on the DDoS attack which based on the application layer is studied in this paper.And the impact of network security caused by DDoS attack can be eliminated or reduced by this protection test model,and then the detection can be achieved.In this paper,first of all,the application layer protocol and DDoS attack principle are learned and researched,that the current protection strategies of DDoS attack which based on the application layer are Cookie authentication,session and so on.After the related information was consulted,the DDoS attack under sudden flow environment is analysed, and the current method is summarized and the monitoring of flow patterns is studied. Finally,the model of detection and prevention and the blacklist filter module on the application layer DDoS attack are established,and the code of the DDoS's protection strategies is programmed,then the protection on DDoS is achieved through the compiler under the linux environment.Through the test of protection in the laboratory to DDoS attack,the data of simulation is obtained.After the data is analysed,the flow detection model of DDoS attack plays a great role,makes the server work normally,and guarantees the security of the network.
