Based on TMS320DM643, a platform which would be used in encryption and decryption of text,audio,image,video is designed in this dissertation, which involves assembling hardware section and software section. DES and RSA encryption arithmetic are also tranplanted in this system to implement information encryption and decryption. Considering the realtimeness of vedio encryption, this system transplants video compression arithmetic H.264 in order to reduce the quantity of data. This system has many merits, such as contact configuration and good expansibility, and can be used in many occasions such as digital camera,video surveillance,visible telephone. The main contents of this dissertation are as follow:Firstly, the dissertation discusses essentiality of information safety, development of encryption techniques and prospect of embedded system.Secondly, a way is studied to design a hardware platform of the information acquirement, encryption&decryption and transmission based on TMS320DM643. The platform includes encryption / decryption function of text, images, audio and video. After tested, the system operates well.Thirdly, based on hardware, this dissertation designs system software with DSP/BIOS, in terms of Reference Framework Level 5 provided by TI. After this, text, voice, image and video can be acquired, transported and played fluently.Subsequently, RSA/DES encryption arithmetic is transplanted into this system.The encryption of text, audio,image and video is realized.At last, the system also transplants and optimizes H.264 arithmetic. After optimizing, the performance of the arithmetic is improved. Furthermore, this dissertation encrypt DC coefficient of a video.
