In the modern war, identification of emitter resource is an important function of Electronic INTelligence (ELINT) and Electronic Support Measures (ESM). With the rapidly developing of electronic technology, Radar has been more diversiform and formed more complicated circumstance of Electronic Countermeasures(ECM). How to sort and analyze signals of emitter resource and how to acquire right parameters in order to system of real-timely alarm and homing is an important research of ECM.To sort and analyze signals is an important section in radar homing and reconnaissance, it directly relates with capability of electron reconnaissance equipments. Faced with challenge of civil radar antagonism In this paper,I mainly systemically research the signal sorting,simulating. It can be briefly stated as following.1. Introducing the environment of ECM and detailedly analyzing the character of time domain,frequency domain,air space,power density and polarization putting forward the main basis of signal sorting system for ECM.2. Carrying out the digital simulator of signal source. First analyzing the affect of the parameters range of signal source,the error and the parametric variation on sorting result, discussing parameters of signal sorting and types of Pulse Repetition Interval (PRI) in signal sorting, finally constituting a model to produce the signal data and form the PDW and technical project.3. PRI being an important parameter in radar signal sorting, Systemically researching basic methods, including transformation of PRI, autocorrelation, Cumulative difference histogram(CDIF) and Sequential difference histogram(SDIF).4. Using Kalman filter to solve the problem of initial states which can't be solved by traditional sorting PRI of radar including modeling and simulation.5. Adopting two approaches of ICA (independent component analysis) to sort radar signals in order to meet real-time requirements.6. Researching applications of wavelet transform and wavelet neural networks in sorting of radar signals.
