With the development of modern wireless communications, it needs the linear power amplifier as an important component in the modern communication system now.The nonlinear influence on multiple carriers signal, such as AM/AM and AM/PM conversion, has been analyzed in this paper, and some common linearization techniques, such as feedback, feed-forward and pre-distortion, have also been introduced and compared, and their Advantages and disadvantages have also been analysed.In this thesis, the main work is to research and develop a power amplifier with the Chinese standard of 3G, and the power amplifier is utilizing predistortion technology. The LDMOSFET MRF6S19060NBR1 of the Freescale company is chosen as the main power amplifier, while the AH202 of WJ company as the driver power amplifier, and the STQ-2016Z as the vector-condition. The anti-parallel diodes are used to produce third-order inter-modulation signal(IM3) to predistort the signal of the power amplifier. In this research, it is found that with the decline of the IM3,the IM5 increases, and with the theory's analysing, a better approach was brought forward, then it has been proved in the software ADS.In this thesis, finally in the two-tones test, the analog predistortion power amplifier developed in this paper shows that at the required frequency band 2010~2025MHz, while the output is the average power of 33dBm, more than 20dB improvement in the third-order inter-modulation with 2 watt output, offering approximately 50dBc third-order inter-modulation depress(IMD3) output, and achieved the expected goal.
