Spatial spectrum estimation technology is nearly 40 years since the development of the airspace of a new signal processing technology, which can also say it is a new technology developed on the basis in the beam-forming technology, nullzero technology and time domain spectrum technology. It's main objective is to enhance research in the space within the bandwidth signal processing (including the independent, party relevant and coherent) angle estimation precision and angle resolution.This article firstly reviewed the development of high-resolution array technology, outlined the basic principles and applications. The content of the chapterⅠis high-resolution measurement to the theory of high-resolution, as well as an ideal model of basic assumptions, which is the basis of subsequent chapters. Signal source estimation algorithms including Information theory method,smoothing rank profile algorithm and Gerschgorin methods is also researched in the this chapter. ChapterⅢstudy of Subspace decomposition algorithms and signal source numbers of estimation algorithm. Subspace decomposition algorithms is divided into two categories to research. One is noise subspace the algorithms representative of MUSIC and Root-MUSIC and the other is signal subspace algorithms representative of ESPRIT. ChapterⅣis based array movement extension high-resolution methods. One-dimension movement model and phase methods is firstly built then these technology is extension to two-dimension space, which can estimate two-dimension angles. Lastly the simution experiments evalue it's evaluation. The main content of ChpterⅤis about multiple-dimension spectrum estimation problems which is more applicated in practice. Space and time effectiveness is deeply analysised firstly and then several algorithms are mainly researched such as signal frequency and zaimuth angle separated method and signal pitch angle and azimuth angle separated method. At last, simulation experiment gives out simulation results.
