On going with the movement of wireless network technology, more applications have been developed with the wireless mesh network technology, and now wireless mesh network technologies are gaining great attention. Among all study areas of wireless mesh networks, data caching technology is an important one which could make the data exchange among the wireless mesh node more flexible and efficient. Extensive research work has been devoted to address the problem of data caching technology in the ad hoc networks. Although wireless mesh networks is much similar with ad hoc networks, we can't put the methods used in ad hoc networks to wireless mesh networks directly. We should design and implement data caching algorithms which are aiming at the inherences of wireless mesh networks. The characteristics of wireless mesh networks put new challenges for data caching studies. Proposed papers about wireless mesh networks are merely focus on data caching, there are many problems need to be solve and improve.This paper is study on the data caching technology in the wireless mesh networks environment. Mainly solve the problem about data consistency and data exchange. Firstly, put forward SACCS algorithm. Based on the algorithm, achieved the expectant works. Secondly, bring forward a multi-level caching algorithm. This algorithm focus on the problem of unbalance using of buffers in the network, it has improved the hit ratio of buffers in the net through managing. Thirdly, for the proposed data exchanging algorithms which simply estimating one metric, concerned together with wireless mesh networks' traits. in this paper, we put forward a energy efficient data exchanging algorithm which take data size and data access rate into account, deal with the data exchanging problem from the energy consume point of view. Finally, give a simulation platform to implement these algorithms and analyze the experimental performances.
