Along with the development of oil industry, using the advanced intelliegent instrument to monitor the oil well to produce into the inevitable trend. Embedded system obtains the widespread application in the intelliegent instrument measuring appliance domain for its cost-effective, high performance, and low cost.On basis of diagnosis of the architecture of the arm microprocessor andμC/OS-II system, and combined with real situation of oil well detection, this paper emphasis on research of oil well logger based on embedded system in the aspects of system software and hardware design, operating system migration, graphical interface design, showing diagrams, and other aspect of load-position diagram data compression. The embedded software and hardware platforms with the core of S3C44B0X are constructed, and the operating system transplantation and the development driver and application based on it are accomplished. According to the actual needs of the system, the suitable tailor ofμC/OS-II has been made. The operations such as survey and demonstration are coordinated through the task scheduling. The use of graphical user interfaceμC/GUI constructs the friendly man-machine interaction platform, so the survey and the management are completed through the onstage operation. Through studying the structure of NAND Flash to establish the FAT16 filing system, the metrical data document management is realized, and it has been used as the basis for its communication expansion. The load-position diagram is one important parameter of the oil well. In view of its data occupying big storage space, not favoring a better management and the transmission shortcoming, the algorithm based on wavelet neural network to compress is carried on. Aiming at the insufficiency of the algorithm the improvement has been made, and both of the compression and the reproduction performance are good.On-line simulation tests showed that the system worked well functioning, and had stable performance. The use of friendly interactive interface to the oil well parameters measurement makes the operation simply and has some practical value.
