With the development and interpenetration of computation, communication and digital media,and the flourish of embedded computation and communication appliance,a novel type of computation mode-pervasive/ubiquitous computing-is booming. The main idea of pervasive computing is to embed computer into the living environment or tool of human, So as to make the computer invisible from users'sight and the users can focus on their task itself, instead of the computer. Pervasive computing embodying the integration of computer, communication and digital media technology makes it possible to integrate the physical world we are living in and the virtual world in the information space together as the whole. That, as the result, will makes a profound influence on our thinking on information and our working and lives style as well.The method of design and implementation of the client of the digital voice room based on the pervasive computing is emphasized and some new schemes to the key problems are presented. The paper first tells about the concept of pervasive computing and the current research status of the pervasive computing, The framework of system, including the hardware and software scheme, is presented. Then we implement concerned drivers based on successfully transplanting theμC/OS- II and cut down correlative protocols and design the MyProtocol Protocol by ourselves to the imbedded system.At last,the paper also tell about the application of context awareness in this system named the digital voice room based on the pervasive computing.In this system, We adopt PC as the teaching-terminal and properly extend peripheral equipment on the MPU S3C2410 to meet the teaching demand.so we construct architecture of the system which integrates audio-teaching resources and optimizes module design on the basis of keeping the adaptability and stability of the system.
