Study Based On The Image Of The Sample Block Repair Method

Digital image inpainting belongs to image recovery field,which is to fill the region where information is missing or replace with different image information.Inpainting methods include PDE based method,variation based method,statistical based method,Exemplar-based method and so on.In this paper,we mainly discuss Exemplar-based image inpainting method,which is to choose appropriate exemplar patchs from the known image or the known region of an image to fill the damaged region of the image.By using the Exemplar-based image inpainting method proposed by Criminisi,we can maintain the structure information by defining the priority for each unknown pixel,and then completing pixels according to each pixel's priority. In this article,we redefine the priority used in Criminisi's method,and our method acquires more reasonable results for some images with both structure and texture missing regions.With the structure propagation method proposed by Jian Sun, we can draw a few curves indicating structures with the human visual knowledge, complete structure propagation along the curves in a global style and get structure information of the region needing inpaiting,for the texture region remained,we use texture synthesis method.In fact,Jian Sun's method is effective in dealing with images with complicated texture and structure regions.
