| Image engineering is a comprehensive course with many cross-linked courses, with rich content and tight connection with real life, it has substantial significance for research. The corresponding theory and technology have had a very fast development in recent years, and it has been widely applied in fields like industrial detection, control and guide in national defence, space technology, biomedicine, and remote sensing and remote detection.Here in this thesis, with the support of Sichuan changhong component technology Co.,Ltd. ,the research on a new printed circuit board detection method based on image engineering had been put forward. In this thesis,we made a deep research on image engineering therory, especially the color image segmentation, analysis, recognition etc. and we implemented a system of printed circuit board detection,including printed circuit board color image pre-processing,segmentation, analysis etc.Through the study of the subject,some major results and conclusions are drawn:(1) This thesis analyzes national and international research trend of image engineering technologies, especially for the application of image engineering technology in industrial detection;(2) This thesis researches the current status of detection technology of printed circuit board. in aiming at the current limitation of detection technology, we innovatively proposed a new detection method based on image engineering technology, it has features like reliable, practicable, low cost etc, and it is worth for wide application;(3) In this thesis ,we do investigations on existing digital image segmentation algorithms. It puts forward a color image segmentation algorithm based on histogram to segment the printed circuit board image.(4) some key recognition technology of printed circuit board flaw characteristics has been researched in the thesis. and we draw a method which is the tree inspection method based on area differences supported the sequential probability radio idea. And many valuable researched achievements were obtained after the verification of the experiments;(5) The design and realization of image engineering software of defection detection of printed circuit board. And its reliability was tested by real images of printed circuit board.
