The Inter-domain routing system which is based on the Border Gateway Protocol is the key infrastructure for the next generation Internet.It currently has several limitations, but its replaycement is not a realistic option due to its worldwide deployment.How to solve these problems is now challenging.For the moment,applications such as Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP) or virtual private networks(VPN) have strong requirements in terms of QoS.To fulfill those requirements,many ISPs have deployed mechanisms to provide differentiated services in their networks.The customers of those ISPs are now requiring similar levels of QoS across inter-domain boundaries.BGP has no built-in QoS capabilities since it was designed only as a protocol to distribute reachability information.Recent years,there are more and more attentions paid on how to supply inter-domain QoS routing.We choose this problem as a research point,give some introductions and analyses on it and do some research on it.Especially we focus on the inter-domain multicasting problems and propose two QoS-aware multicasting algorithms.The inter-domain routing system which is based on the BGP is the key infrastructure of Internet.If the inter-domain routing system breaked down,it would cause serious impact on Internet.At present,many attacks make use of the IP-Spoofing scheme.It gives the hackers easy aways to start attacks and little possibility to be traced.How to reduce the harm of the IP-Spoofing based attacks or even stop them has become an important problem.In this paper,we introduce the inter-domain security problems,do some research on how to filter the IP-spoofed packets on the inter-domain routing system and propose two effective filtering mechanisms..We mainly have done the following works:(1) Do some researches on inter-domain QoS problems, review the methods which can provide inter-domain QoS routing, and introduce a framework for QoS routing. (2) Based on the framework we mentioned and the unicasting algorithm on it, we propose two inter-domain QoS aware multicasting algorithms.(3) Do some researches on inter-domain security problems and introduce the merits and drawbacks of the present mechanisms.(4) Make some analyses on the inter-domain IP-Spoofing based attacks and propose two mechanisms to solve it especially for the inter-domain IP-Spoofing,(5) We use C++ and OPNET simulation platform to write our simulation programs and prove the efficency of our algorithms.
