Mobile Ad Hoc wireless networks is dependent of prerequisites, with the capability to establish networks at anytime, anywhere, this makes it a perfect choice for battlefield, disaster rescue where extraneous hardware is not available. This kind of self-organize network allow its member to join and leave network and move at a reasonable speed, meanwhile this nature offers the mailicious nodes chance to harm the network, thus all its advantages come along with serious security problems. With limited signal transmission range, each node seeks the assistance of its neighboring nodes in forwarding packets. All these intermedia nodes work as a route who take fully control of the packets it received, this is convenient for the mailicious nodes to launch various attack.Trust model helps each node accumulate experience by observing their neighbours' contribution to the packet forwarding mechanism thus to seperate the mailicious and benevolent nodes, this mechanism don't need extraneous hardware and so it can keep the infrastructure-independent nature of pure Ad Hoc network. However when working with Ad Hoc routing protocol, its performance need to be improved. This paper analyzes the vulnerability of several typical Ad Hoc route protocol and the problems of the trust model when working with these protocols, and provides some mechanism to improve the performance of the trust model: use cross-layer information to provide the trust extra trust computation resource; improve the computation mechanism of the trust model; route request, route reply packets carry full route accumulation; establish multiple route. The simulation results provided shows that these mechanism can improve the performance of the trust model.
