Synthetic Aperture Radar(SAR) imaging technique is related with electronic engineering computer science and digital signal processing.The computation task of Synthetic Aperture Radar(SAR) is huge.To reach real-time speed,besides some high-performance devices,the high performance interface of data communication is needed,PCI is a high-powered local bus of computer,it has a high speed for data transfer,and fits for the speed of high-speed peripheral equipment of image.Because the general signal processing system based on PCI bus making use of advantages of the DSP and PCI bus, can meet the high level demands of the radar signal processing and data transfer ability, so it's application in radar system are developed rapidly.The SAR echo simulator from DSPs parallel signal processing board and FPGA signal convolution processing board composition, between the two boards handle high-speed data communications technologies are also vital. Based on LVDS high-speed serial transmission technology programme to meet the requirements of high-speed data transmission, while reducing the complexity of the interconnect bus, and system costs.This paper studies SAR echo simulator high-speed data interface, main contents include the following:a) Around PCI9054 complete PCI bus interface design, completed in the PCI9054 FPGA read and write control logic.b) Completed SAR echo simulator Signal Processor PCI driver design, preparation, as well as debugging, and the preparation of the test under Windows control procedures.c) Research and analysis in the two SAR echo simulator signal processing board LVDS signal transmission mechanism, and the initial development of system hardware design.Debugging results show that the PCI bus interface logic, drivers and control interface procedures are basically meet the requirements of system design, the system can achieve normal operation.
