Data Mining Technology In The Commodity Management

With the rapid growth of internet and intformation technologies,more and more business have moved to e-business.Therefore,it is very important to have a good web-based information plantform.Companies have accumulated tons of data with e-buisiness.However,these valuable data was not used in business decisions due to lack of handy analysis tools.Hence,it is necessary to have a data analysis system build for company decision making.Datamining is such a techology to analyze data and generate helpful information.This thesis discusses how to apply data mining technologies in business and logistics management.We built an e-commerce website based on our analysis of the model company.We then presented our association rules applications based on data warehousing and data minging research.The rest of the thesis is organized in the following manner.First,we introduced thoefies attributes,and classifications of data mining and data warehousing.We also briefly discussed the use of these technologies in business sales.Then we reviewed two data mining algorithms,Apriori and FP-Tree,in details.A comparision of these two algorithms is shown in this section.Next,we devloped an e-commerce website based on business needs using a light-weight J2EE framework(SSH).The website currently manages sales,inventory,and logistics for the company.Then we developed an analysis system using both Apriori and FT-tree alogrithms under.NET framework.The results is analyzed and a conclusion is drawn.
