| Implementing ERP successfully relies on efficient IT industry. However, in China, the failure rate of ERP projects is high, because Chinese enterprise software industry cannot supply high-quality ERP software and service. How to improve the product and service quality of ERP through reengineering ERP industry chain has become urgent. This thesis is dedicated to make preliminary research in this region.At first, this thesis reviews the general concepts of ERP and industry chain, based on which the definition of ERP industry is generated. According to industrial materials and literatures, it summarizes three development stages of ERP industry chain, which are workshop, factory, and supply chain.At second, the thesis reviews the development of Software Engineering and summarizes Software Product Line (SPL) theory. And then it points out that division between domain engineering and application engineering, reuse of core assets, composite developing, and platform of SPL leverage the reengineering of ERP industry chain.At third, based on SPL, this thesis constructs two structure models of ERP industry chain. The first one is manufacture model, in which large software vendors, as core corporations, ally component suppliers and system integrators to provide customized ERP systems. The other one is retail model, in which service providers, becoming core partners, collect software from vendors to provide one-to-many and self-select software application services. Details of two models, their advantages and disadvantages, their target market are also discussed.At fourth, in order to support the two organization models, two software corporations, SAP and Alisoft, are selected as typical cases and analyzed in details, such as their SPLs, supply chain strategies and structures.Finally, the paper puts forward some necessary measures from two aspects, optimizing external environment and perfecting internal mechanism, to promote the reengineering of Chinese ERP industry chain. |
