Based On Water Meter Reading System Of The Can Bus

The project of research and realization of water volume meter reading system based on CAN bus is one project of the institute for engineering services. The author cooperated with the ChangZhou Nice Industrial Engineering Control Limited, developed the hardware and software of the system, finalized the prototype and put into small batch production.At present, driven by government policy, Intelligent Home get rapidly development. As one area of the intelligent home-intelligent water volume meter reading system has also got flourish. In practical use, real estate or property management department often find inaccurate water volume meter reading. Thus, the system uses electronic technology and sensor technology. The head of the water volume meter was improved. The system couples with the unique sensing device, has the characteristics of high precision, no accumulation of errors and low-power consumption. According to user needs, using two methods of meter reading: mobile meter reading system and Area Network data collection system, which can achieve data network management. The use of the means of communication CAN bus, improve system reliability, real-time performance and flexibility. The development of the system software mainly uses compilations, C51, databases and Delphi.This paper mainly introduces the principle of the remote water volume meter, procedure of production, signal acquisition, collection boxes and the design of the handheld-meter-set, the fuzzy signal processing, data transmission, CAN Bus applications and Area Network data collection system. The system characteristics of the four major points:1. Virtually unique meter design sensing devices, with precision, no accumulation of errors and low-power characteristics.2. The system does not require long-term power supply, only when the meter reading working. Users save the extra cost.3. Because the complexity of the area condition, there exists various water volume meter system. The system using two models to meet the requirement of the users: the mobile water volume meter reading system and the area network data collection system, which can achieve data network management.4. The system uses the field-bus CAN bus. Compared with other serials communication mode, the CAN bus characteristics of high reliability, real-time performance and flexibility.The system has a better market prospects for use, cost-effective system design, versatility and reliability.
