This article utilizes the principle of knowledge engineering and information technology, systematizing and formalizing the research fruits on expert's knowledge of the field of fertilization, experience and the method to resolve problem, and via the combination of model and expert technology. This paper studied the construction and of Expert System of Recommendation and Fertilization for Rice Production..The structure of the system is composed of Database, Knowledge Base, and Inference Engine, Interface of User-Computer, Interpreting Mechanism, Knowledge Obtaining and Knowledge Base Maintaining Organization. The function modules of the system include the decision-making of. The system realizes functions as following:(1) The System Management and Maintenance sub-system:Provides the system the long-distance management and the maintenance function.responsibling for the database and the knowledge library management and the renewal work.(2)The recommendation fertilization sub-system:Applies fertilizer recommends the subsystem is this system core is at. Also divides into three stature modules Applies fertilizer recommends the sub- module, the crops lacks the element to diagnose the sub- module and the fertilizer employs the sub- module. The expert recommends the subsystem the data which submits to the user to carry on the inference explanation using the inference machine, provides the long-distance inference decision-making service for the user.(3) The message board sub-system: Message board system: The conclusion obtains which in view of the inference machine, the user like has not the explicit place to be allowed to propose the question through the message version; The expert may through the message version explanation user question.
