Authentication is an important line of defence of network security and it plays an important role in guarantee that information is accessed and obtained by authorized users. Traditionally,static password-based authentication schemes are very popular for identity authentication in remote access,which has many security vulnerabilities.dynamic password authentication is one of the advanced solution to enhance the security.the key idea is to keep the verification changing constantly. In order to comply with the information society to the information security request, this article proposed a dynamic password status authentication plan based on the fingerprint characteristic.The system first gathers the user's fingerprint, then carries on the automatic fingerprint recognition,After the local automatic fingerprint recognition, it produces the dynamic password with the time when it registers and the gathering living fingerprint characteristic taking as the dynamic factor,finally uses the producing dynamic password to carry on the status authentication. Although the different user's fingerprint detail characteristic is dissimilar, but the identical user withdraws the detail characteristic which is possible to be same at each time, therefore in order to guarantee that the different user as well as the identical user use disposable dynamic password to register,joinning the fingerprint characteristic and the time which is all indefinite at each time in the process of register to produce the dynamic password.This scheme has higher security to withstand masquerade attack and replay attack.and it is fair for the mutual parties and it is more security. The scheme not only resolves the problem of the traditional static password and dynamic password,but also resolves the confidentiality and integrity of the user's living fingerprint in the network system.It is a secure,reliable and effective approach to identify the users. The research Work mainly focuses on the following concept:authentication mechanism ,encryption/decryption algorithm,hash function,etc.
