Dmf Automated Testing Framework To Optimize The Design And Implementation

Interoperable regression testing of Weblogic and Tuxedo which are the middleware of BEA sytem is a very fussy thing, it not only takes lots of time and manpower but also delaies the project process sometimes.DMF which was developed by BEA system is an automated testing framework for Interoperable regression testing of Weblogic and Tuxedo. Comparing with manual testing, it impoves the testing efficiency. But DMF1.0 can not meet the requirements with updating of product. So we optimized it for this situation, that is DMF2.0.Expect for keeping the functions of DMF1.0, The resource management software is added into DMF2.0,it can manage the Socket and IPCKey dynamicly and make the test case executed by different granularity according as different requirements;The new framework optimized the function of log which can deal with the log by classification, it not only impoves the efficiency but also make easily for debugging case; in addition, DMF2.0 optimized the function of testing report,it supports tow ways for generating the testing report,one is the testing report is sent the ARTTS system ,it is convenient for checking the testing result and trace the historical information. Other the framework formats the testing result into HTML type document, then sending it to the appointed email, this report can record the detailed infomaiton of the failed test case, and it not only sends the testing report to user timely but also makes easily for debugging case.Comparing with manual testing, it optimized the functions of log and testing report and imported the resource management which can make the case executed intercurrently, not only the DMF2.0 is efficient, but also make easily for debugging case and provides the reusability component for other test framework.
