Logicsql The B1 Level Security Database And Realization

With the widely use of computer and the pervasion of Internet, much information has been produced and stored in the database, among which there are public information and secret information as well. Database must protect the access of secret information stored in it. Thus, it is an urgent and important task to ensure the security of the database. But in Chinese market, the highest security rating of database products is C2, and higher rank database products are prohibited export commodities to our country. For the requirements of security higher than B1, we have to develop by ourselves based on a database management system with independent copyright and complete source codes. Therefore, It is necessary to investigate on the security of domestically produced software in both theoretical and applied aspects.The security theory and technology in database, as a database theory research, is an important direction. Many overseas scholars have done much work on multilevel secure database management system and lots of high secure DBMS have been implemented, In multilevel secure database, subjects accessing the database and objects stored in the database are assigned security labels. Subjects access the objects according to the relationship between their security labels, following the Mandatory Access Control policy. This paper proposed a new secure database management system based on Bell-Lapadula model and discussed the problems of labeling object in dataitem, and label security. Mandatory access control model requires that all users and resources are classified and assigned a security label, which is a combination of a hierarchical security level and non-hierarchical security categories. Because mandatory access control plays an important role in highly secured database system. The model for an independent copyright database management system LogicSQL is implemented. The paper designed at least the Bl security model for LogicSQL database.
