In the modern war, the conventional weapon is not the only mian chararcter which needs considering, the ability of the electronic countermeasure (ECM) and electronic counter countermeasure (ECCM) has become more and more important in determining the final results. Radar countermeasure is an essential part of the electronic warfare (EW). The modern science and technology development has caused a revolution in the field of the EW, including the radar countermeasure. Many new methods have born, and distributed jamming is one of them.Distributed jamming system is developed from airborne jammer with unmanned aircraft or airballoon. It's often used to cover special area or to make false target. These small, light and cheap jamming devices are always thrown to the area near the enemy's frontier and jam the foe's military electronic device such as radar and radio etc. with or without men's control. Distributed jamming system can be used to launch SOJ or SSJ in Surface-to-Surface manner.Traditional single jammer syetem has EMC problem and is fragile to ARM attack. On the other hand, the jammer of distributed jamming system is often thrown in the enemy's territory and has much smaller emissing power, so the problems mentioned above will be solved easily. Short distance, agile space distribution pattern and various signal forms are the most distinctive advantages of distributed jamming sytem. However, because it's almost impossible to find an easy way to control the distance between the jammers and the target and also hard to synchronize the relative phase between different jammers, the difference in the relative phase of each jammer's radiating signal increases the difficulties in system's application, designing and analysis.Based on the theoretical analyzing and computer simulation, this dissertation takes research works as follow:The signal composing for distributed jamming system on any given point in space has been discussed, including the effects on average power and waveform both.Sveral experiments have been taken on the PC simulation platform for PD radar, and thus the theoretical results of signal composing for distributed jamming system have been validated.Focusing on the airspace characteristics, this dissertation studies the superiority of distributed jamming system over the traditional jamming system in the following two aspects: the jamming effects against radar system that has low sidelobe antenna, the jamming effects against the radar system that uses SLC technology. The superiorities of distributed jamming system, which radiating noise FM signal, against radar system who uses dicke fix technology or DSSS that has time-frequency interference excision technology have been discussedFinally, the problems of the distributing and power supplying for the mini jammer, which must be considered in practical using of the distributed jamming system, has been discussed briefly.Contrasting to the traditional jamming system, the distributed jamming system has its own special characteristics. Because of these characteristics the distributed jamming system will be more and more important in Electronic Warfare.
