By summaring the Teachers' Professianl Development training activities that carried out both in domestic and abroad, the common characteristic is making use of network media to form a learning community and to share a variety of learning resources and communication tools for enhancing teachers' professional development. In the process of researching Teachers' Professional Development in ICT, our Educational Technology key lab successively developed Teachers' Professional Development Supporting Platform (TPD) and Teaching Case Knowledge Management System (TCKMS) to support web-based teachers' learning community and to provide a platform for teachers to view online video-based teaching cases, and thereby integrate ICT into teaching practice. Because the two application systems were developed under different technology background and for different application requirement, they have been running indepentdently. Obviously, it is unconvinient for teachers to use. Apparently, video-based teaching case is a kind of practicial resource that worth sharing by means of network. From this viewpoint, TCKMS is an alienable part of TPD, therefore, to integrate two application systems is very meaningful to much more effectively support teachers' professional development.As Service-Oriented Architecture and Service-Oriented Integration was researched and applied more in Enterprise Application Integration, it inspires us to apply this new technology concept in ICT to complete system integration and resources integration, As Web Services protocols were reaching perfect gradually, especially it was supported by .NET, J2EE and other enterprise application platform, it was widely popularizied, It costs little to implement, so it has high feasibility and it depends on any operation system, no doubt, it became a new method to implement SOA and application system integration.Based on Web Service standard, and conformed to SOA principles, we proposed the web service based software architecture for integrating TCKMS and TPD. We constructed the new system with advanced B/A/S 3-tier architecture. At the bottom is database, application service is just above, at the top of this architecture is presentation layer, we implement most of the business logic adopting web service component in business logic layer. In this paper, we explained the detailed implement of single sign-on service, and defined the database access web services to get data from different datasource, in addition, we described how to use C# to encapsulate the business module in TCKMS, and proposed a new method to deploy web services in order to manage them together and save expenditure of server's storage space.The technology solution we proposed in this paper will not only be used to integrate TPD and TCKMS the two application system, but also can it be used to integrate other existing application systems or add new business functions by using web service component technology for reference. It makes this research universally significant. It also provides a good solution for integrating educational resources and constructing largescale educational platform online.
