The mobile communication is the technology which move forward unceasingly, but rapidly development to the researcher, in the current time, it has brought the unprecedented development space, now it has produced the technology of 3G and 4G. Former TDMA, FDMA, CDMA all cannot completely satisfy request of people, which stand for the person-to-person communication, and the proposal of the array antenna make people to develop to the aim of the SDMA.It is well known, in the mobile communication, DOA is most core part in the array antenna technology. How can receives the estimated DOA of user accurately and quickly, is a key that whether the array antenna technology does succeed. At the same time, with the development of the third generation mobile communication technology, the requirement of user to the performance increase day by day. Therefore, this article not only has confirmed the many kinds of methods from the simulation angle to estimate performance of the DOA at good or bad points, and proposed new theory algorithm which based on the wavelet, the estimated method of DOA make the performance which could be optimizated.At this article, I give the estimated methods of DOA, including LMS, delayed addition, Capon, MUSIC, and connect the smooth technology of space level, it gives an account for various excellent or shortcoming method for estimated DOA to signal, and proves one by one by simulated experiment in back.In the application of wavelet, the wavelet has been used traditionally in the signal examination or the aspect of two-dimensional picture processing, the wavelet has little application directly in the array antenna, it doesn' t makes the ability to get distinguish analyzes. But in this article it took the mathematics method of wavelet, decomposes the signal in the wavelet territory, then through the array antenna technique, the effect of wavelet in array signal denoising, uncorrelation, and increasing the ability of distinguishing is described in by the estimation of spatial spectrum. The technique carves outnew methods in array signal processing and improve the ability of the array antenna.Subsequently, I take compared with wave intra-area DOA estimation and the tradition estimated DOA. The methods in wave intra-area include WT-Capon, WT-MUSIC and so on. The article look into the applying prospect of new algorithmic in future, it give the deficiency of the new algorithmic and the development of the new algorithmic to go a step further at last. At the same time I describe my research direction in the future.
