This paper introduces the basic information hiding and digital watermarking technology and the concept of digital watermarking main application areas, properties, andintroduces some of the current models based on the frequency-domain algorithms. And on this basis, to improve a digital watermarking algorithm based on wavelet transform, the method chosen by the band had little effect on the visual image for the embedded watermark, the embedded watermark image better transparency; And the watermark image of the original image were different levels of the wavelet transform, adaptive wavelet important factor to be selected the original image, image watermark embedded into wavelet coefficients in a certain way, has a good sound and image compression resistance; Experimental results show that the method is effective and feasible.
