Cac Vocational And Technical College Information Management System Design And Implementation

In this thesis, a management information system for the Technical Institute of CAC is designed and implemented, and based according to the procedures of school business management. Owing to its dual nature of managing both enterprise training and school teaching, the EIM system provides not only an informational public platform but also a secured specialized platform. The EIM (Enterprise Information Management) system is composed of a network system and an application system. The former one is a basic platform based on the school network, and the latter one consists of specialized systems such as teaching management sub-system, training management sub-system, etc, and an inquiry system which can offer information service. The teaching management system and training management system adopt the three-layered structure design of the ASP.NET technology which is characterized by its high efficiency, flexibility and expansibility. This design is in accordance with the features of school work and is able to provide administrators and decision-makers with multi-leveled information service. Taking the security of network information into full consideration, this system makes use of the well-developed security technology which reliably safeguarded the EIM network information. This thesis tries to provide the necessary basis and reference for the implementation of the system by expounding the following aspects: the overall design of the system, the construction of information and data, the framework of the main system, the realization of every sub-system and the security of the system.
