Joint Tactical Information Distribution System (JTIDS) is a kind of information distribution system which has big capacity, security, anti-jamming and time division multiple address. It has integrated the capability include the communication, the navigation and the recognition. It also can offer the service to armed forces unity. It has overcome the defects of the communication, the control and the navigation systems separately in the former, such as the work ability was bad, the cover scope was small, systems lacked the relation, the ability of anti-ruins was weak, the data real-time nature was bad, they couldn't produce the enemy, the friend and the neutrality mutually recognition and position data. JTIDS has the very high tactical technology characteristic and multi-function.The navigation ability is the most important function in the system of JTIDS. It essentially is to point that the system can give airplane or other types net members coordinate position in the stipulation coordinate system. On the base of TDMA correspondence function in the system, because of having had ability that using TOA to measure distance in precisely and exchanges the position data in mutually, so long as plus the certain function of data handles, then can make the system have the ability of navigation. The navigation function of JTIDS includes relative navigation and geography navigation. And for JTIDS, relative navigation is more basic than geography navigation, which can make member ensure its relative position and speed who don't know its precise geography position. The Kalman filtering algorithm is the core of the relative navigation algorithm. Therefore, studying Kalman filtering algorithm, increasing the precision, stability and dependability of relative navigation is very important for the JTIDS system.This text surrounded by the problem of how to increase the precision and stability of relative navigation. The main results are as follows:1. It is detailed to study the most important functions and work elements of JTIDS system, the elements of relative navigation, the coordinate system transformation, the concept of error ellipse, the algorithm of GDOP and the extended Kalman filtering algorithm.2. It is detailed to study the several important maneuvering target models. The CV model, CA model, Singer model and "Current" statistical model are simulated and analyzed. And studying the adapt Kalman filtering algorithm with gradually disappear factor.3. Studying the inertia navigation system and the simulation theory of the strap-down inertia navigation system, using AeroSim to simulate SINS. Studying JTIDS/INS combined navigation, designing Combined Kalman filter, and gained the simulation result.
