High power,high efficiency and broadwidth capability of gyrotron traveling waveamplifier makes it an attractive source of high power radars,electronic counter systemsand communication systems. But the gyro-TWT was found to be susceptible tooscillations,which severely restricted its performance.Recently, an interaction structurewith distributed wall losses was shown to be effective in suppressing oscillations.On theother hand ,computer simulation is necessary in the design process of gyro-TWT. In thisthesis,the interaction of beam-wave in the interaction structure with distributed walllosses has been made the through research on and the self-consistent differentialequations of the interaction of beam-wave have been derived.Based on theseself-consistent differential equations, the simulation code of singlebeam-waveinteraction and the simulation code of doublebeam-wave interaction have beenmade.The interaction between single electron beam and RF field was simulated and agroup of optimization parameters of the gyro-TWT has been made.
