Linux Server Anti-virus Strategy Study And Realization

In this paper, we researched a method of antivirus under Linux system, at the base of introducing the history of computer virus, and analyzing the developing trend of computer virus and antivirus technologies. Then, after learning the structure of the Linux operating system and some related application technologies, we designed and implemented an antivirus system, namely Linux Client.The Linux Client is a type of clients of the Kingsoft Antivirus Network Edition. The Kingsoft Antivirus Network Edition is an antivirus system designed of the enterprises. It could be managed conveniently, and could provide an all-sided protection for the enterprises.The Linux Client could be managed by the Kingsoft Antivirus Network Edition, and has the functions of scanning for viruses and watching the files in the system. It was mainly used on the Linux File Server in the enterprises, for the preventing of cross infection of the virus in the enterprises.There are three modules contained in the Linux Client. The first one is the main logic module which manages the client and also provides the timing function. The second module is the scan module which calls the virus engine to scan file and kill viruses. The last one is the virus firewall which contains a device driver, and hooks the system call and watches all the disk files.
