Analysis Of The Relationship Between Autonomous Systems

Research on the AS-level topology is not enough to characterise the Internet, because the routing polocies are strongly shaped by the business relationships between Autonomous Systems (ASs). In these years, the commercial contractual relationship among ASs is one of the hot topics in the Internet characteristic research field.In this paper, I select the Chinese ASes as researching object. I classify Chinese ASes into seven representative classes that reflect ASes with different properties. I derive the statistics on the different cities of ASes in China. I introduce the concepts of home degree,foreign degree and the degree of popularity among Chinese ASs, and gave a novel algorithm based on the foreign degree and home degree to infer the relationships between AS pairs. I compare the inferring result with KC result published on the web site [35], and I discover that my algorithm outperforms well on inferring provider-to-customer. According the Chinese popularity degree of the foreign AS,I gave the top forty foreign ASs, and list all the countries which have the connection with Chinese AS.
