Space target electro-optical tracking system is mainly used for tracking the satellite and other objects in track; it is a kind of important ability of controlling space and one of the important research directions in the high-tech aerospace measuring and controlling realm. Researching the advanced control technology used for the spacebome electro-optical tracking system, its aim to realize fasting, stabling and high accuracy tracking to the space target that have comparative movement and acceleration under the space environment, thus making certain the space target's obit and completing the tracking and watching mission.This paper according to the particurity of spacebome enviroment and the design request of tracking system, carring on an investigation and primary design into the servo control system of spacebome. In order to satisfy the applied background of spacebome, put forward a kind of advanced control strategy and tracking algorithm, namely fuzzy PID control based on wavelet analyses. As results of simulation show that the controller has better dynamic and anti-jamming performance than conventional PID controllers.This research gives a new method to the design of the spacebome tracking system, and can be a useful reference for other applications in this domain.
