Intelligent Machine Translation In The Context Of Information Processing

Machine Translation Systems(MTS) built before mostly concentrate on the sentence analysis, and they do not take advantage of the sentence's environment information. However, people use discourse (or text) as a whole to communicate with other people. Because the sentence MTS do not use the text information, they can not deal with many problems. So, to improve the quality of the MTS, MTS must take the environment information into account.The most important thing in Discourse MTS is to build an environment, which can provide sentence MTS with environment information. This paper is based on the Intelligence MTS(IMT systems) and extract the subject, predicate, object and so on of a sentence from the sentence's analysis tree. Basing the information extracted from the sentenct, we build an enviroment processing system (IMTENV).Basing the enviroment, we discussed how to deal with a sentence's different right parses, ellipsis problems, how to translate Chinese into english with correct tense, and how to deal with referring expression.
