Negative electron affinity (NEA) photocathode has been developed rapidly and used widely in the short several decades after it had been found because of its excellent performance. At present, a comparative complete manufacture line of photocathode has been established in our nation, but our prepared NEA photocathodes have big distance from foreign advanced ones. Besides the reasons that cathodes materials is not enough good, the lack of the effective measurement methods to analyze the data and monitor means to control the equipment is the main reason for our cathodes laggardly development. Just because of the reasons mentioned above, this dissertation deeply explores the technique of NEA photocathodes multi-information measurement and control combining national project. Some important contents are summarized below:First, the dissertation analyzes influences of multi-information such as: photocurrent, current of Cs source, current of O source, vacuum and spectral response on photocathodes during NEA photocathodes preparing, and discusses measurement and control technique conception of NEA photocathodes.Second, at the foundation of the spectral response measurement system, which was developed formerly, the dissertation develops multi-information measurement and control system, which boosts cathodes preparation quality and efficiency, under the corporate efforts of all members involved in the project.Last, application of multi-information measurement and control technique to the preparation of NEA photocathodes is studied. The activation technique of photocathodes is analyzed and optimized by multi-information which were measured and saved during preparing. The multi-information include vacuum of activation system, cathode photocurrent, spectral response, current of Cs source, current of O source.
