The main task of the artillery's trajectory measure is to measure the instantaneous speed of the moving target in the chamber. And the Doppler speed radar is often used here. For that the Doppler frequency is time changeable, the signal with zero intermediate frequency of the radar target echo is a kind of non-stationary signal with time changeable Doppler frequency. As a result, we can measure the instantaneous speed of the moving target by estimate the instantaneous frequency of it. The ways of time-frequency analysis and estimation of the instantaneous frequency of the signal are adopted in the paper. Also the basic theories of Short time Fourier transform and Wigner-Ville distribution are summarized. And the basic echo model of the artillery's trajectory is established. The availability and feasibility of the two ways are tested by MATLAB, and the speed error curve of target movement is obtained.
