| This paper focuses on development and implement of automatic observation system of broadcasting. The system's aim is to monitor data acquiring and management, which should be done well and truly. The monitoring system bases on Windows NT operating system. Using software such as Visual C++, Microsoft Access and SQL language, we designed monitoring system that includes application of database, controlling of Modem by AT commands, serial-port communication and so on. With the software, the monitor center can realize man-machine conversation.We also studied coding and compress technique of audio signal, which is used in compressing and far-distance transmission of audio signal in our broadcast system. We study the run-length coding, Linear Prediction Coding (LPC), Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) Coding and the Huffman Coding. We design the program of LPC and DCT, and emulated the program by Matlab at the same time. By putting the coding program into practice, we come to a conclusion that the program of LPC and DCT can achieve the aim of audio compress in our project. |
