FMT is a new multi-carrier modulation which is based on filter banks and exhibits spectral non-overlapping between subchannels.FMT has been used in VDSL and FMT is a new hot topic in wireless scenarios.Channel coding of FMT is an important part of FMT system. Firstly, because some sub-carriers of FMT may be completely lost because of deep fading, BER in system is very high. Secondly, there is serious intersymbol interference(ISI) in FMT system. We need detect and correct by channel coding errors which is caused by fading and ISI. So it is very significant to research coded Filtered Multitone Modulation (CFMT) in wireless communication. The method of thesis is theory analysis and simulation, then main work researching the performance of CFMT in wireless channel is shown as followed:1.First of all, we analyze the characteristic of wireless channel and the basic principle of FMT system;2.Then secondly, many kinds of codes, such as convolution code, RS code, turbo code is investigated and simulated;3.Thirdly, on the basis of research of channel coding schemes, I study the performance of CFMT system.Based on the simulation results, we draw CFMT system have the good performance to multipath of channel.4. At last, we proposed the performance of CFMT in image transmission.
