With the rapid progressing of the Internet and "All School Connected" project going further, it is becoming a common understanding that modernizing education has to be driven by first modernizing information infrastructure in our educational system. However, it is far less satisfactory in the actual utilization of the campus networks at our middle and primary schools. For example, the functionality provided by campus network is less perfect; network servers are low in quantity and performance, not enough emphasis on online information security, etc.This article analyzed the actual operating condition and need in building information infrastructure at our middle and primary schools throughout our country. Considering the differences in functionalities and the overall cost of ownership, it is a better choice to promote open source operating system Linux and use ordinary workstation to build the server platform for our campus network at middle and primary schools.Chapter two mainly focuses on the construction of the platform of network service at middle and primary schools, proposing the plan of " 1+n " website resources of campus network and releasing builds the scheme, security tactics and platform of video on demand in the interdynamic teaching platform; Chapter three mainly deals with the load balancing problem of studying server, including the topics, such as, how to utilize LVS in Linux system, turning ordinary workstations into high performance, low cost virtual servers; Chapter four focuses on network security and includes topics such as how to utilize netfilter module in Linux system to build a comprehensive protection system with detect and defense to improve the security of campus network at middle and primary schools, and ensure the steady operation of campus networks and servers.
