Recently, wireless Ad-Hoc networks are gathering growing in the information technology industry as newly arising wireless communication networks. Ad-hoc networks are used more and more widely in military and civilian applications due to the rapid organizing of networks and the outstanding ability of destruction-resistance and self-recovery. There are inherent vulnerabilities that are not easily preventable in mobile wireless Ad-Hoc networks. To build secure mobile Ad-Hoc networks, intrusion detection techniques need to be deployed;Firstly, paper introduces impelmented background, characteristic and security problems of Ad-Hoc Networks. Secondly, paper introduces origin, characteristic and sort related to Mobile Agent.we also discuss the security of Ad-Hoc Networks and advantages which Mobile Agent applies to IDS of Ad-Hoc Networks. Thirdly, based on researching IDS techniques and structures of Ad-Hoc Networks, we introduce a Zone-based Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks Intrusion Detection System. The IDS makes use of Zone nodes and Zone Gateway node to implement anomaly-based and criterion detection based on routing protocal. Based on mobile Agent, we design whole framework and module's configuration. We illuminates function and characters of the model by examples. Finally module codes are designed, on the basis of Aglete platform.
