The Study, 0,1-sequence Model-based Image Retrieval Algorithms

In this thesis, first we described two main technologies in content-based image retrieval(CBIR) : retrieval of characteristic and matches of characteristic, analyzed the virtues and the drawbacks of the common methods used in the two main technologies and introduced several well-known content-based image retrieval systems.Secondly, as the main part in this thesis, we investigated an image retrieval method based on 0,1 sequence pattern in three aspects: reducing the time in retrieving picture characteristic, enhancing retrieval rate of image retrieval, adjusting this method in revolved images. We have obtained the desired results by employing our improved algorithm.
