Abstract/Summary:
Radio frequency identification technology is an automatic identification technology which has been developed since 1980s. It communicates and exchanges data bidirectionally and contactlessly through radio frequency for the purpose of identification. With the maturity of LSI technology, the volume of RFID system decrease a lot and become practical. The dissertation begins with the research of basic principle, structure, working frequency, actual state and the pivotal technic: anti-collision method of RFID. Based on this, the using state of anti-collision algorithm in present RFID field is analyzed. Meanwhile, emphasis is put on the research of anti-collision scheme and related commands used in Tag-identification layer of two mainly standards in RFID filed at UHF: ISO 18000-6 and EPC Class1 Gen2 (EPC Gen2 in short). Some improvements have been done according to the above research: (1) a new framesize adjusting method for Dynamic Frame Slotted ALOHA algorithm is provided, which combines the present research result of Dynamic Frame Slotted ALOHA algorithm and the character of traffic transmission in RFID system. This method can be easily carried out and satisfy the real-time processing. Further, it can be used in the anti-collision scheme in the Type A of ISO 18000-6, assisting the inventory of the tag population; (2) emphasis is put on the analysis of the Tag-identification layer in EPC Gen2. A great deal of analysis and simulation work has been done on it's anti-collision scheme to comprehend its characteristic and offer data for reference for the design of signal processing module; tag inventory flow is given based on the standard, and then improved. Superfluous commands which go beyond the framesize between reader and tags are avoided.Further more, the protocol process module in DSP of a RFID system according to EPC Gen2 has been designed based on the above work. And then the tag analog software for testing the conformance especially the anti-collision process for reader is completed. In these designs, TMS320C5000TM series of DSP chips are selected. The reader system is debugged at ZTE Corporation. It can identify and operate Texas...
