The demand for the system of Short-range Air Defence is increasing by reason of more and more complexity of battleground condition. The system, which greatly attractes many nations, is playing more and more important role because of its excellent maneuverability, high chance for existent, precise hit and great capability in battle. The research and development of the Light Vehicle-carried Aerial Defence Missile System(LVAMS) is highly worthy not only for the development of our military force ,but also for catching up with the tide of this technology.In the procession of information of the whole system, data fusion is the key technology and it is also the main point of the dissertation.The first chapter is foreword and the struction of the dissertation is introduced.In the second chapter, the research background, developments of the system and the technology of data fusion are introduced. The attribute of the sensor-networks aiming for low-velocity targets in low altitude is also introduced.In the third chapter, related technologies are presented. These are algorithms for track-filtering, filtering on condition of multi-sensors, data association on the condition of multi-targets and so on.The following chapters are the theme of the dissertation. The author's five contributions are discussed in detail.The fourth chapter aims at the design of the center-stage fusion process. Based on the algorithm for the center-fusion, the fusion method for multi-sensor system is proposed.The fifth chapter is about the design and realization of Kalman filter in the system. The author replaces the old polynomial motion model CA with a new nonlinear motion model further improving current statistical model, and the results are of better performance on tracking target.The sixth chapter discusses the method for space transformation, which considers the curvature of the earth surface .The author first demonstrates that it is necessary to use ellipsoidal model for the system and educes the transform formula.
