Due to the density of electrical current is very high in high power microwave apparatus, space charge effect is very strong, they limit the increasing of out-power. One of effective ways of overcoming space charge effect is to fill plasma in high power wave apparatus, by the neutralization between plasma and space charge, the transfer current is going to be largely enhanced, thereby out- power is going to be largely increased. Meantime, due to there are many fluctuating modes in plasma, so it is able to bring a new beam-wave interaction mechanism, by it people can invent some new type high power microwave apparatus. A lot of results show that high power microwave apparatus filled plasma is able to largely enhance the capability and to increase bandwidth, efficiency and power of apparatus.The aim of this paper is to search for a new type periodic slow-wave structure with filling periodically magnetized plasma, and following works are done:1. Firstly, the investigation of wave propagation characteristic in magnetized plasma with periodically changing density is done. By numerical calculation, analyze the effect of additional magnetic field and plasma density changing on the propagation characteristic.2. Second, the investigation of wave propagation characteristic in periodically magnetized uniformity plasma is done, in light of numerical calculation, to analyze the effect of additional magnetic field amplitude, background magnetic field and plasma density changing on the propagation characteristic.3. More, the investigation of wave propagation characteristic in round waveguide filled periodically changeful plasma in density is done, by numerical calculation, to analyze the effect on the propagation characteristic when background plasma density and the amplitude of plasma density change.4. Finally, the investigation of wave propagation characteristic in round waveguide filled uniformity plasma periodically magnetized is done, by numerical calculation, to analyze the effect on the propagation characteristic when additional magnetic field amplitude, background magnetic field and plasma density change.
