High-resolution Color Infrared Dmc Image Kunming City Greening Information Extraction

With the rapid development of RS, man can get more and more aerial and satellite imagery. Thus, automated information acquisition from imagery has become a bottleneck, which needs to be overcome. Urban objects are important geographical thematic information of satellite imagery .In the past, urban objects extraction from digital imagery has received considerable attention. Automatic main objects extraction in urban area from DMC(Digital Mapping Camera) image is studied in this paper and the main focus is the virescence in Kunming urban area.Some effective methods of typical objects extraction in kunming urban area has been proposed in the paper which has been used to investigate Kunming urban vegetation cover by advanced DMC imagery. The paper has studied the spectral response of typical objects in Kunming urban area and developed the methods of vegetation extraction by which the accurate and reliable vegetation cover map has been evaluated. The success of this project proves that the methods given by the paper is valid and effective, which can be expanded to more extensive application of remote sensing.
